Accessibility and Awareness
In addition to the awareness team, we have a so-called ‘guiding-team’ available for the time during the programme.
The guides help with access to the festival site. They are also responsible for any relevant needs on the site.
On the Telegram channel ‘Hallo : Festspiele 2025 Lots*innen System’ you will also receive information on access on 25th + 26th July.

There will be meeting points to encourage visitors to make joint appointments for the routes to and from the festival site.
A meeting point will be marked at the ‘Hammerbrook’ train and bus station.
From there, visitors can move to the festival site at Bullerdeich on the hour in a self-organised and independent manner.
In addition, three times on Friday and Saturday, the guides will offer accompanied pick-up on foot at the Hammerbrook S-Bahn and bus station.
These times are :
Friday : 3:30 pm. + 6:30 pm. + 9:30 pm. Saturday : 3 pm. + 6:30pm. + 9:30 pm.
Note: The Hammerbrook S-Bahn station is wheelchair accessible via a lift. As this lift is regularly out of service, we recommend travelling by bus.
There will also be a meeting point at the festival site where you can organise yourself and walk to the next train and bus station every hour on the hour.

Ground level / wheelchair access
The site is largely at ground level and accessible by wheelchair. As the site is subject to heavy traffic, there are occasional potholes. There are also 2 wheelchair-accessible toilets.
The guides – recognisable by their purple waistcoats – are available for you.

Fog and laser light technology will be used.
Awareness
With this event, we would like to create a place where people with different experiences and perspectives can meet.
We ask you to treat each other with respect and empathy!
Please be mindful of your own and other people’s different boundaries.
An awareness team (AWA for short) will be available on site.
If necessary, you can contact the AWA team – recognisable by their blue fishing waistcoats with pink dots – at any time.
A security team will also be on site from the early evening.
The use of derogatory language, any form of discrimination and transgressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
If you observe or experience such behaviour, please do not hesitate to contact the AWA team.
They will act in the interests of the person concerned and according to the individual situation.
The AWA team also acts jointly and in consultation with the security team.
If there is no one around you, you can always contact the admission desk.
You can also contact the guides – recognisable by their purple waistcoats.
If in doubt, seek support from your immediate surroundings.

Zugänge und Awareness
Während des Programms gibt es neben dem Awareness-Team auch ein “Lots*innenteam”.
Die Lots*innen helfen dabei, zum Festspielgelände zu kommen. Sie sind auch zur Unterstützung auf dem Festspielgelände da.

Es gibt einen Treffpunkt an der S-Bahn- und Bushaltestelle “Hammerbrook”.
Von dort können sich Besucher*innen selbstständig und pünktlich zur vollen Stunde zum Festspielgelände zum Bullerdeich bewegen.
Dazu gibt es sechs Mal die Möglichkeit, von den Lots*innen an der S-Bahn- und Bushaltestelle “Hammerbrook” zu Fuß abgeholt zu werden.
Die Zeiten sind:
- Freitag, 25.07.2025 : 15:30 Uhr + 18:30 Uhr + 21:30 Uhr
- Samstag, 26.7.2025 : 15:00 Uhr + 18:30 Uhr + 21:30 Uhr
Wichtig:
Die S-Bahn-Station Hammerbrook ist mit einem Aufzug erreichbar, aber dieser funktioniert nicht immer. Alternativ kann man mit dem Bus anreisen.
Auf dem Festspielgelände gibt es auch einen Treffpunkt, an dem man sich jede volle Stunde selbstständig und gemeinsam zur nächsten Bahn- oder Bushaltestelle bewegen kann.
Ebenerdigkeit
Das Gelände ist größtenteils flach und gut mit dem Rollstuhl zu befahren. Da der Ort viel genutzt wird, gibt es manchmal Schlaglöcher.
Es gibt zwei rollstuhlgerechte Toiletten.
Die Lots*innen tragen lilafarbene Westen und sind für euch da, wenn ihr Fragen habt.

Es gibt Nebel und Laserlicht.
Awareness
Es gibt ein Awareness Team, das uns vor Ort unterstützt. Das Team trägt blaue Westen mit pinken Punkten, damit man sie erkennt. Abends ist auch ein Team da, das auf die Sicherheit achtet.
Es ist wichtig, keine verletzenden Wörter, Diskriminierung oder schlechtes Verhalten zuzulassen. Wenn du etwas siehst oder hörst, kannst du dich immer an das Team wenden und dir Unterstützung holen. Wenn gerade niemand in deiner Nähe ist, kannst du auch die Leute am Eingang oder die Lots*innen in lilafarbenen Westen fragen. Wenn du unsicher bist, kannst du auch jemanden in deiner Nähe um Hilfe bitten.
