Together we want to visit the scenes of right-wing violence in Rothenburgsort and Hammerbrook, report on the respective acts and commemorate them together.
The tour invites you to take a closer look: (How) are the victims of right-wing violence commemorated in the district? Which stories become visible – and which remain hidden?
During the walk, we will talk about the historical background, remember the victims, talk about the importance of a culture of remembrance and discuss how remembrance can be shaped today. The city walk offers space for questions, suggestions, thoughts and shared remembrance – about the past, the present and, above all, our responsibility for the future.
The walk will be led by Aaron, Emil and Solveigh from the “Culture, Digitalization, Metropolis” course at HafenCity University.
