Who are our queer ancestors? What power does remembering them release? And why have their stories been rewritten? In this workshop we will hear and share stories from beings of mythology and other ancestors.
Since the early 1990s, Didine has been active as a queer activist and has graced the stage as a host and performer, participating in over 50 stage programs. Along with her stage partner Blessless Mahoney, Didine has been lecturing in philosophy at different universities in Europe. We are glad to have Didine – a specialist on queer ancestors – hosting this workshop and sharing her knowledge and practice of remembering. If you already have a queer ancestor you remember please bring them to the workshop!
