Merch for those who no longer need merch! Or more urgent than ever? – Walk through Hammerbrook and the surrounding area and 2-part screen printing workshop
Merch for those who no longer need merch? Or more urgent than ever! Which places are still there? What has remained or will soon be gone? What is lovable and needs support? Or which sign simply has an appealing design and would like to serve us as a further development for merch?
We don’t want to sell anything. We want to preserve together, create together and make merch for those who really need it. We turn the tables and remember the forgotten, becoming fans and activists. The event consists of three different formats:
Wed, 10.07. 18.00-21.00 Walk:
Walk through Hammerbrook and the surrounding area
We will take a walk through Hammerbrook and the surrounding area together. By telling each other stories about what has disappeared and what is under threat, by tracking down newly created spaces and buildings and by being inspired by Hammerbrook’s signs and graphic worlds. Meeting point at the kiosk!
Sat, 03.08. Workshop screen printing template:
We design screen printing templates for textiles to then make merch for those who no longer need merch? Or more urgent than ever!
In this workshop, each participant designs black and white screen print templates. You can bring ideas, design something for your freaks and allies, redesign Hammerbrook’s graphic worlds or revitalize empty spaces. If you don’t have any ideas: No problem, we’ll think of something, there’s plenty of inspiration out there.
Screens and originals are then used for exposure.
Fri. 16.08. 18:00-21:00 Print workshop:
We will print T-shirts, sweaters and textiles together in front of the kiosk. How? All you have to do is bring along your favorite item of clothing that you want to print on. Colors and templates are available, while the kiosk provides us with music, snacks and drinks.
The number of participants varies between the individual parts, which can be attended independently of each other.
Walk part 1: unlimited
Workshop Part 2: Maximum number of participants 10 (with registration: Email)
