Die Hallo: Festspiele sind ein Festival zum Schaffen von öffentlichem, gemeinschaftlich genutztem Raum. Als temporäres Format bietet es internationalen wie lokalen Künstler:innen und Gruppen jährlich eine Plattform jenseits vorgefertigter Strukturen: in der Auseinandersetzung mit rohen Räumen, in gemeinschaftlicher Produktion, in Kollaborationen und offenen Prozessen. 2016 ist aus dieser Initiative das experimentelle Stadtteilbureau Schaltzentrale hervorgegangen.
