fermentieren & intervenieren explores the ways in which fermentation can be a form of protest. The practice of fermentation is a way to withstand and resist the consumer-oriented society. Fermentation, integrated into everyday life, can quietly contribute to social transformation.

You don’t need any previous knowledge to take part in the workshop, fermenting can be very simple. If you would like to join in, find out more or try fermented food and experiment together, please come along.

22.06., 13.00-16.00 Fermenting together | *bring your own vessels and what you want to ferment (but there will also be some on site) | starter cultures can be organized by prior arrangement

30.06., 17.00-21.00 Joint dinner of previously fermented food and exchange of experiences

The dates build on each other, but are designed in such a way that it is also possible to attend only individual meetings. Registration is not mandatory, but helpful for organizational purposes.
